Stone Care - General Do’s and Don’ts:

Do's:

• Do blot Spills immediately with a paper towel
• Do use a wooden or plastic cutting board when chopping
• Do protect surface with coasters, trivets, placemats and cutting boards
• Do rinse surfaces thoroughly after cleaning, then dry with soft clean cloth
• Do clean surfaces with mild detergent and warm water or a stone cleaner

Don’t:

• Don’t use vinegar, lemon juice or other acids
• Don’t use old kitchen sponges, they may contain oil from your dishes and leave a film on your surface.
• Don’t use cleaners such as bathroom, grout or tile, and tub cleaners
• Don’t use cleaners containing abrasives
• Don’t use too much soap will leave a film and streaks
• Don’t use bleach or ammonia
